Honest, Reliable Service
This is an ongoing project which I started In July 09. There is 6-8 months work remaining, however this particular project is flexible and so allows me to undertake other work.
This is or will be a beautiful 300 year old barn conversion with most of it's original oak roof/walls intact. It Is located Nr Diss, Norfolk In a beautiful setting of fields and woodland. When finished it will feature some of the original walls and all of the original roof. This was a big job in itself because all the insulation had to go on the outside of the roof to expose the original rafters, purlings etc. This consisted of 10mm ply, visqueen waterproof layer, 2 x4 timbers cross batton (with 100mm earthwool inbetween), 50mm celotex, counter batton, breathable felt and tile batton. A lot of work but the end result Is fantastic.
The barn will have underfloor heating, open plan floor space, a glass floor fitted, mezzanine floor, velux windows and double end open fire place.
This Is a enjoyable job and will be nice to see the end result when finished.
Photos will be updated as the work progresses.
